2017 Summer Learning

2017 Summer Learning Program is here!  There are a few changes you will notice this year.  Rather than a reading competition, we are asking participants to set their own reading goals.  We will then celebrate reaching those goals.  Additionally, rather than multiple prizes, you will earn raffle tickets for 4 different raffle baskets. Winners will be drawn on August 6 at the Wrap Up Picnic.  We are also trying to make it easier for families to attend programs, by offering programs open to everyone.  We do ask that if young children are participating, they have a parent or caregiver present to assist them.

This year’s theme is “Build a Better World.”  Many of our activities will focus on the engineering design process, and incorporate many different learning opportunities for children, teens and adults.  There will be many STEAM activities that center around the theme.

If you have any questions about our 2017 Summer Learning Program, please feel free to email Melanie Miller at alfred@stls.org.
