SUMMARY:Bikes and Books
DESCRIPTION:The Alfred Box of Books Library is once again partnering with A.E. Crandall Hook and Ladder\, Alfred Police Department\, and Bicycle Man to hold a bike safety event.  Get fitted for a free bike helmet and an officer from Alfred PD will go over bike safety. We’ll also have tons of giveaways including FREE books! Bicycle Man will be on hand to show off recumbent bikes and do some minor bike repairs. \nThis year\, we’ll also be hosting a community bike ride.  Ride from the fire hall\, down Main Street\, turn left on Church street\, then left on Mill Street.  Continue left onto West University\, back onto Main street and back to the fire hall.  The fire department will have traffic blocked for this event. \n
