Crafternoon: Build a Reading Buddy

Every Thursday afternoon we’ll be having a crafternoon! Join us for an art related project.  This week we will be creating stuffed reading buddies.  Read to your buddy all summer long! Crafternoon activities will have Take and Make Kits available

Dried Flower Picture Frames

Amanda Khodorkovskaya of Living Acres Farms will help participants create beautiful picture frames decorated with dried flowers. (Just in time for Mother’s Day!) Children must have adult supervision because hot glue will be used.

Junk Journaling

Junk journaling is an art in which you create personalized journals with repurposed materials such as old books, magazines, found objects, photographs, and other items. Collage pages with various items to express your creativity. Registration is required. Register by calling

Angora Wool Spinning

Lunar New Year Celebration

Join us at the library for live music performed on the guzheng and a lion dance demonstration.  We will also make a small ornament with Chinese calligraphy. Refreshments provided.
