Teen & Tween Subscription Kits!

Youth ages 10-18 years old can register to get a monthly subscription box full of personalized goodies. Boxes are now available all year round! Unlike other subscription boxes, these are completely FREE!

What’s in the box?
1.) A craft activity with all the supplies you’ll need to complete the project.
2.) A library book, already checked out to you, chosen for you based on your answers to questions on this form. https://forms.gle/1BAEJRFWjZNcSrKk7
3.) A special treat such as tea, candy, popcorn, etc. Please let us know if you have any allergies or restrictions, so we can customize your box. (I don’t want your orthodontist mad at me!)
4.) Book recommendations for more reading fun.
5.) Other goodies- coloring sheets, trivia, brain teasers, quizzes and more!
6.) A review sheet. Let us know if you didn’t like the book. It helps us pick future items for you!

When and how do I get my box?
Your box will be ready the first week of the month. We will contact you to let you know when they are available. Pick it up during regular library hours. Just let library staff know you’re picking up your subscription box. When you are done with the book, return it to the book drop!

Tween/Teen Night

Every month we have an activity for tweens and teens ages 10-18. Be sure to check out our Events page to see upcoming events.

During this time, teens are welcomed and encouraged to offer ideas, suggestions, thoughts, and comments about programs, services and materials offered to teens by the library.  Participants can gain community service hours for these contributions.  Be sure to ask us how!

Summer Reading Program

Teens are invited to participate in our Summer Reading Program.  This keeps teens reading throughout the summer and prevents the “summer slide”- when kids forget what they learned during the school year.  The Box of Books offers programs and events specifically for teens during Summer Reading Program.
